Bernie Sander’s Memes Won Inauguration Day.
Bernie’s viral memes took over the internet.
Sure Biden may have won the election but Senator Bernie Sander’s viral memes won the internet. Pictured above, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) who sat at the inauguration dressed in a beige parka, took over the internet for hours (or as my friends would say “Beyonce’s internet”).
After a year of pandemics, COVID, lockdowns, “election fraud”, and the recent Trump administration season finale, “Insurrection”, I think we’ve all needed to find humor, and where better than twitter.
In true Twitter fashion, Inauguration Day was day full of viral memes, but none were more arguably hilarious than those of Bernie Sanders.
Sander’s gloves scored a tweet from Dionne Warwick:
Bernie’s comfy mittens were actually made by a school teacher and fellow Vermonter, Jen Ellis. They were crafted from repurposed wool sweaters nearly 2 years ago in which Ellis placed a note inside the globes for Sanders reading, “I believe in you and I hope you run again.”
While Bernie lights up internet, and before we jump into his memes, lets recall some memorable inauguration memes.

With the last four years having been quite the eventful ride, or as some of my friends have said “The Apprentice: Presidential Edition”, this inauguration for a large part of America is a release of air, and what better than to add humor.
We should all take a note from Bernie Sanders book, dress for warmth and comfort, not looks.
